catwalk vs real life

I have nothing against fashion shows. I find the different and unique designs on the catwalk interesting.

However I think it is odd to say that what you see on the catwalk is fashionable when you rarely see average people who dress like that in day to day life. The only people who regularly wear clothes seen on the catwalk outside of model photo shoots and fashion shows are celebrities (coughLadyGagacough)
