Hello
{!firstname}
Well, here we are at the end of another
year. I hope you had a good one! I also hope you're not too stressed
out in this week before Christmas?!
The good news is it's not long to go before
it's too late to worry about what hasn't been done yet! I find that no
matter how organized I think I'm going to be I'm always stressed this
week before Christmas. Then the day's here and there's no point in
stressing about what didn't get done!
Have you got what
you're wearing for your various festive events worked out? I
share a tip or two with you in this newsletter.
Have you bought all your presents yet? Here are some last minute gift ideas
for both males and females. I'm also pleased to announce a special offer on both the men and women's
eStyles programs. And don't forget to get my "Your Personal
Style Formula" ebook before the price increase on 1st January.
I've also answered
another great reader's question.
Enjoy this month's Style
Snippets. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Until next year, all the best
PS I always welcome your feedback, so please

What Are You Wearing to Festive
Events?
Have you thought about what you will be
wearing on Christmas Day yet? And for other Christmas social occasions?
If you spend about half an hour in your wardrobe identifying the
clothes and accessories you will wear to each of the social activities
you know are coming up it will help you feel calmer and more organized
in one aspect at least.
Plan to choose outfits that flatters your...
- Coloring
- Body shape
- Personality
Also make sure it's suitable for the
occasion - think of the venue, the people you'll be with, the time of
day and the level of formality.
Make sure you try the outfit on with the
accessories you plan to wear, especially if you haven't worn that
outfit for a while. You don't want to find out it doesn't fit, isn't
clean, or needs repairing right before your event is about to start!
What
I'll wear on
Christmas Day
For instance:
- A cocktail dress works well for more
formal evening occasions
- For smart casual evening events a maxi
dress, or dark flowing pants with a glittery top will work well
This is what I'll be wearing this year on
Christmas Day. (Please excuse the terrible photo, but I hope
it
gives you some idea of what I'll be wearing!) It's a Jane Norman dress
I picked up in the UK earlier this year.
We're having friends around to our place for
lunch and
the forecast is for a high of 26C (79F) with a 40% chance
of rain.
Last Minute Gift Ideas
Accessories
make good presents and can be purchased both in local stores and
online.
Ideas include costume jewellery (such as
necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets), hats, purses, wallets, bags
and even shoes.
However, if you're worried about choosing
an accessory that will be liked and used you need to understand a bit
about the person and how
to choose an accessory.
Another great option is to look for gift certificates,
this can be for accessories, books, or pretty much anything. Online
gift certificates are particularly useful if the gift recipient doesn't
live near you and you want them to have the gift for Christmas. Or
perhaps you can't get to the stores or you can't find the items you're
looking for locally.
I offer gift
certificates for all my services.
Other ideas include ebooks such as "Your Personal Style Formula" ebook
or one of the other ebooks I
recommend.
