Hello
{!firstname}
Here in Sydney it's beginning to feel as if
the season is changing. It's cooler in the mornings, taking longer for
the day to heat up, although nights are still relatively
warm and it's very humid.
For
me another indication of the change of season is that the fashion sites
and blogs I follow are excitedly talking about the new season's styles
and warmer weather clothes are appearing in the shops.
(To complicate things, the designer fashion
week shows are previewing styles for Autumn/Winter 2014!)
In next month's Style Snippets I'll be
looking at trends in silhouettes and looks for the upcoming fashion
season, that is: Autumn/Winter, if you're in the southern hemisphere;
and Spring/Summer if you're in the northern hemisphere.
This month I've...
Enjoy this month's Style
Snippets. Until next month, all the best
PS I always welcome your feedback, so please
contact me with anything you'd like to see either on the website or in
this newsletter (reply to this email or use the Contact Me link below).
More Ways to Interact
I've now added a few more ways for you to
interact with me and other readers through my website (see below). So,
I'd love it you'd 'like' my website and articles, and enter comments. I
always enjoy receiving your feedback.
This is what you can now do...
Near the top of most pages
(eventually it
will be at the top of all pages), above the main content, you'll see
some buttons. I'm still playing with what should be there, but at the
moment you'll see a Facebook Like button and a G+ Follow
button.
If you have a Facebook account you can
indicate that you like my website by clicking the 'Like' button. If you
have a Google+ account you can follow me there by clicking the 'g+
Follow' button and adding me to one of my circles (all without leaving
my website).
Near the bottom of most pages
(eventually it will be at the bottom of all pages) under the 'Like this
Page?' sub-heading, you'll see a 'g+1' button and a Facebook 'Like' and
a 'Share' button.
Clicking the 'g+1' button tells
Google you like the article on that page. Clicking the
Facebook 'Like' button tells Facebook you like the article on that
page. You don't have to have either a Google+ or a Facebook account to
be able to do that.
If you do have a Facebook account and you'd
like to share the article on that page
with your friends click the
'Share' button and follow the prompts.
There are also another 2 share buttons under
the comments area, with both a Facebook share button and a Twitter
tweet button.
If you'd like to comment on
an article/page
you'll find a 'Comments' sub-heading under the 'Like a Page?'
sub-heading. Simply enter your comment and click the 'Comment' button.
If you have a Facebook account you can have your comment posted on your
Facebook wall.
On pages that have been submitted by
readers, such as submitted style questions (asked through this form), you can
enter comments through the 'Click here to post comments' link
at the bottom of the page.
